Every point, one table.

Snowflake runs athlete and fan data for Team USA on the road to LA28. In Atlanta, where Snowflake already has a team, three women and three men play for one score and one leaderboard, and every point lands as data. We’d like to show you what that table could become.

A gender-balanced Professional Team Tennis League

■ Already home

Snowflake has a team in Atlanta. So do we. Eight of them.

Snowflake hires sales, marketing and engineering in Atlanta, and more than 1,300 people belong to the city’s Snowflake user group. In 2027 every INTENNSE team plays its season here, in front of a tennis community that has been playing league tennis since 1934.

■ One table

Women and men, on the same table, on the same points.

An INTENNSE team is three women and three men playing for one score. Every point they win goes into that score and onto one league leaderboard, where women and men are ranked together. It is the cleanest data model in professional sport, and it is live every match night.

“The LA28 Olympic and Paralympic stage offers an extraordinary opportunity to bring together data for truly meaningful impact.”

■ The road to LA28

Snowflake runs Team USA’s data. Tennis is on the LA28 programme, mixed doubles included.

Snowflake is LA28’s Official Data Collaboration Provider, the Official Data Cloud Provider of USA Bobsled/Skeleton, and the platform behind U.S. Figure Skating’s athlete and fan work. Every one of those is an Olympic sport. None of them is a professional league with a season, a broadcast and a table that moves every week.

Why a league, and why now

An Olympic sport peaks every four years. A league plays every week of its season, with the same fans coming back, so the fan data compounds. Mixed doubles is the Olympic tennis event closest to our format, and LA28 falls in the first summer our teams play in their home markets.

■ Many owners, one data set

From 2028, every team goes home with its own owner. The fan data has to go with them.

After the 2027 Season, each INTENNSE team moves to a home market of its own, with its own owner, ticketing and local sponsors. The league, the owners, their sponsors and the broadcasters all need the same fans in view, without copying the data between them. That is the problem Snowflake’s sports work is built to solve.

WhoWhat they need from the table
The leagueOne view of every fan across every market, and the leaderboard that ties the season together.
Team ownersTheir own fans, ticket buyers and local partners, governed by the league’s rules from day one.
SponsorsMeasured results for each activation, shared without handing over the fan list.
BroadcastersPoint-level data for graphics and storylines on every platform carrying the match.
The proof in another league

Snowflake’s own sports page describes the Canadian Football League’s fan work on Snowflake: a 215% two-year growth in its marketable fan audience, and personalised content that converts nine times better. A league building its fan data now, before it splits across eight markets, can start where the CFL arrived.

■ Every level

From the neighborhood court to the professional roster.

INTENNSE is the same game at every level, so the route from a Tuesday league to a professional team is one continuous line — and Atlanta has more people on it than anywhere else.

Pro

The professional team. A drafted roster of three women and three men, on the same pay terms.

College

The pipeline. Players move on from INTENNSE teams to programs like Georgia Tech.

Open

The Challenge Series. An open draw whose winners are drafted onto a team coached by a professional.

Local

Sixty thousand league players and the country’s biggest junior team-tennis program.

Girls, boys and data

Snowflake for Good supports Techbridge Girls, which brings STEM to girls from low-income communities. A clinic day with INTENNSE players, built around the table behind a match, puts that work in front of girls and boys who already play, and shows them a leaderboard where they count the same.
